Things that are swirling in my head

I just got back from a short trip to Kristi Lake in Michigan and it was a really pleasant surprise!  The whole “cottage life” thing is a mystery to me.  My family definitely has the mentality of “well…we already did that…why would we want to do it again?” so, we never go to the same place over and over.  But, it was definitely an eye opener as people have invested their yearly vacation money into speed boats, paddle boats, pontoon boats, etc.  It was really fun, and I was amazed to discover my friends could water ski.  Water sports are like a world that I have never lived in, due to spending so much time in the midwest, and Texas!
